Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to experience one of Central Oregon’s most scenic and inspiring race weekends as the Happy Girls Sisters Run returns Saturday, October 24, 2026, in beautiful Sisters. Featuring a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, the event combines fitness, friendship and mountain-town magic in a welcoming atmosphere designed to celebrate women on the move.
The signature Half Marathon takes runners onto the renowned Peterson Ridge Trail system through the Deschutes National Forest, where participants will enjoy single-track trails, rolling terrain and sweeping views beneath towering ponderosa pines. The 10K and 5K courses offer a faster-paced mix of road and trail through downtown Sisters, making them ideal for runners, walkers and first-timers alike. All races begin and end at FivePine Lodge & Conference Center.
Every participant receives commemorative swag and a finisher medal, while Half Marathon finishers earn the event’s signature custom belt buckle. Awards, gift bags and prizes will be presented to top finishers, with a festive post-race celebration featuring food, drinks and community cheering on every finisher.
Race weekend kicks off Friday, October 23, with “Girls Night Out” packet pickup at FivePine Lodge, featuring drinks, snacks, vendors and pre-race fun. Participants can also pick up bibs on race morning.
This year’s beneficiary is Sisters Park & Recreation District, supporting year-round recreation, sports and enrichment opportunities for local youth and families.
