Every summer, people walk through Downtown Bend and admire the beautiful flower baskets hanging from our streets.

What many people don’t realize is that those baskets don’t magically appear.

They happen because community members like YOU show up.

On Tuesday, June 16th, we’ll be hanging more than 100 flower baskets throughout Downtown Bend—and we need volunteers to help make it happen.

Whether you can help for a few hours or spend the morning with us, we’d love to have you join this fun community tradition.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Hanging flower baskets throughout Downtown
• Loading and unloading flower baskets
• Driving or assisting with our U-Haul deliveries
• Helping stage baskets for volunteer teams

We especially need volunteers who can lift 50 lbs and anyone willing to bring a ladder (6 feet or taller).

This event is always one of our favorite days of the year. It’s fun, fast-paced, community-focused, and honestly… pretty cool seeing Downtown transform in just a few hours.
