Indivisible Sisters will host a family-friendly “No Kings” Early Voting Demonstration on Saturday, October 17, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. The event begins with sign waving (“Early Voting Works”) at the Wild Stallion Rally Corner, located at the corner of Larch Street and East Cascade Avenue, followed by a short march to the ballot drop box at Sisters City Hall.
Participants are encouraged to bring their sealed, filled-in ballots to drop off together at the walk-up box in front of City Hall, making the act of voting a visible, shared community moment.
“Voting is the most direct way we have to make our voices heard,” said Jim McAllister of Indivisible Sisters. “This event is a chance for neighbors to stand together, celebrate our democracy, and turn in our ballots as a community.”
