Central Oregon Locavore, a year-round farmers market and 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to strengthening and supporting local food systems, is seeking community leaders to serve as volunteer officers on its Board of Directors. Two key roles are now open: Board President and Board Treasurer.
The Board President works closely with the Executive Director and fellow board members to guide strategy, strengthen governance, and foster deep community engagement. The Treasurer leads the Finance Committee, ensuring transparency, fiscal responsibility, and long-term sustainability for Locavore’s mission.
Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to make a tangible impact. Positions require approximately 12-24 hours per month and are open to Central Oregon residents with a commitment to local food, nonprofit governance, and community leadership.
