Pacific Catalyst has graciously donated a once-in-a-lifetime boutique cruise valued at $13,500 to be raffled off by Heart of Oregon Corps. Tickets are available for $100 a piece, and all proceeds will support Central Oregon’s first youth workforce development campus. Campus Wonder Raffle tickets are available for purchase online until 5 p.m. on July 15, 2026. Visit the website to learn more and purchase a ticket.
With only 5% left to raise by Sept. 30, Heart of Oregon is in the homestretch of the Legacy 25 campaign to raise $7.3 million for the construction of a 3.4-acre central campus in Redmond. Upon completion, youth from across the region will have access to enhanced social services and educational opportunities, including pre-apprenticeship instruction and GED courses.
“We are honored to support Heart of Oregon’s campus campaign and hope this cruise inspires others to do the same,” said Jordan Elliott, Owner of Pacific Catalyst. “At Pacific Catalyst, we often talk about stewardship across generations. The historic ships we operate have outlived their original builders because each generation has cared for them and passed them forward. Heart of Oregon’s new campus represents that same long view. It is an investment in young people, in skilled trades, and in a stronger future for Central Oregon.”
Pacific Catalyst’s 8-day voyage through Southeast Alaska’s Eastern Passages offers unparalleled access to pristine wilderness. Accommodating just 11 guests, the M/V Catalyst ship offers an intimate, all-inclusive experience steeped in maritime history. The cruise features:
- 8 days / 7 nights aboard the legendary M/V Catalyst—originally built in 1932 by the University of Washington as their first oceanographic research vessel
- For 2 Guests, 1 private cabin with luxurious antique design
- Exploration of the dramatic fjords, remote bays, abundant wildlife, and glacially carved inside passage of southeast Alaska
- Daily opportunities for guided shore hikes, kayaking, whale watching, and wildlife photography
- Chef-prepared meals featuring locally sourced ingredients
“Partners like Pacific Catalyst see the value in this campus and are stepping forward to help us cross the finish line,” said Laura Handy, Executive Director of Heart of Oregon. “If you’ve been thinking about giving to the Legacy 25 campaign, purchase a raffle ticket—not only will you help build this campus, but maybe you’ll even win a cruise!”
Raffle participants must be 18 years of age or older AND in the state of Oregon to purchase raffle tickets. With multiple scheduled departure dates and locations available between May 26 and June 29, 2027, travelers can choose the option that best fits their plans.
