Powder House, one of Central Oregon’s premier ski and snowboard specialty retailers, is proud to celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a special customer appreciation event on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For five decades, Powder House has helped generations of skiers, snowboarders, Nordic enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers find the right gear and expert advice to enjoy Central Oregon’s legendary winters. To commemorate this milestone, the store is inviting the community to join a day of celebration featuring the latest winter equipment, music, ax throwing, and a charitable canned food drive benefiting Neighbor Impact. The first 150 people to donate a can of food for will get a free can of Van Henion beer or raffle tickets to win prizes like skis, snowboards, goggles and helmets. One can of food or a dollar gets you a raffle ticket. After the first 150 people, $5 beer at Base Camp.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the newest ski, snowboard, Nordic, and winter accessories for the 2026-2027 season while learning from factory representatives who will be on hand to answer questions and provide product insights.
