The City of Bend is beginning construction on the Azalia and Windsor Sewer Project. Crews will be installing a new sewer main along a short portion of Brosterhous Road. To complete this work safely and efficiently, Brosterhous Road will be fully closed from the railroad undercrossing to Windsor Drive starting July 27, 2026. Construction is expected to be completed and the road re-opened by early September 2026.

Signed detours will be in place throughout the closure. The closure is being timed to coincide with school summer break.

This project is part of the Cityโ€™s Septic to Sewer Program, which allows property owners in areas currently served by private onsite septic systems to apply annually to install public sewer in their neighborhoods.
