In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Breast Implant Safety Alliance (BISA) will host its 4th Annual BISA Fundraiser on October 21, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Pioneer Hall on the campus of Central Oregon Community College (COCC) located at 2600 NW College Way, Bend, OR 97701.

The highlight of the evening is an exclusive, one-night-only Oregon screening of the deeply moving drama “Hello Beautiful”. Prior to its nationwide theatrical release, this extraordinary film earned 11 prestigious awards.

Based on the bestselling book Walk Beside Me by international print and runway model Christine Handy, both the book and the cinematic adaptation offer a raw, profound look at resilience, self-love, faith, and the unbeatable strength found in community support.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet the woman behind the story. Guest of Honor Christine Handy, celebrated author, speaker, survivor, and warrior, will be in attendance to share her message of empowerment for all women.

Commenting on the premiere screening and the vision behind the project, Christine Handy shared: “Hello Beautiful isn’t just a movie; it’s a rebellion against every story that told women with breast cancer their ending was already written. I created the film that I wished existed when I was bald, terrified, and scrolling past graveyards. I am living proof that survival can be fierce, inspiring, and gloriously alive. When we tell our stories, we take away isolation. When we show courage, others can borrow it until they find their own.”

In addition to the film screening, the fundraising event features local catering, raffle items, a silent auction and community networking. Individual tickets for this exclusive evening are $85. Because seating is limited, organizers advise securing entry immediately. To purchase tickets, interested guests can text 541-699-8076. All proceeds directly support the Breast Implant Safety Alliance, a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on raising awareness, optimizing outcomes and providing balanced, science-baked education and resources to support informed healthcare decisions.
