VIM Cascades Welcomes Stephanie Powell as Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement

Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades (VIM Cascades) is thrilled to announce the hiring of Stephanie Powell as Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement. Stephanie brings more than 15 years of nonprofit experience, including more than six years focused on nonprofit fundraising and development.

“Stephanie brings a passion for nonprofits, a genuine love for community, and a wealth of experience in building meaningful connections. We are so grateful to welcome her to VIM Cascades and excited for the heart and energy she will bring to our mission and the people we serve,” says Kat Mastrangelo, VIM Cascades Executive Director.

Most recently, Stephanie served as Development Manager at Deschutes Children’s Foundation, where she led fundraising, donor engagement, and development efforts supporting the organization’s mission, local nonprofits, and Central Oregon children and families. Throughout her nonprofit career, Stephanie has been passionate about building relationships, bringing people together around shared missions, and creating opportunities for community members to make a meaningful impact.

“I feel honored to join VIM Cascades and bring my experience in nonprofit development and community engagement to an organization doing such important work in Central Oregon. I have spent much of my career working alongside nonprofits and community partners, and I am eager to continue that work in a healthcare setting where the impact is so tangible and meaningful. VIM’s mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to healthcare, and I am honored to help connect our community to that mission,” says Powell.
