Get ready for a fall-tastic day of family fun as Camp Fire
Central Oregon hosts its 3rd Annual Autumn Family Faire on Saturday, Oct. 26 from
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Troy Field in Bend. This is not your ordinary day outโ€”it’s a
community-powered, super-fun celebration of youth and everything to love about
autumn, including a perfect chance to wear those creative costumes, too!

With free entry, attendees can enjoy a whole lineup of fall-inspired games, crafts,
entertainment, food vendors, STEM activities, a photo booth, and seriously
awesome raffle prizes. Raffle tickets for various goodies and gift cards will benefit
school-year programs and summer camps offered by Camp Fire, the inclusive youth
development organization thatโ€™s been serving Central Oregon kids since 1916. And new
this year: Camp Fire program displays featuring homemade crafts and other items
made by actual Camp Fire kids.

Calling all volunteers! Camp Fire is on the lookout for both teen and adult volunteers
to bring their energy and excitement to this incredible day. Whether teens are looking to
make a difference (and add some serious sparkle
to their job or college apps), or adults just want to
jump into the community fun, there are plenty of
ways to get involved and volunteer, signing up for
one or more shifts.

โ€œWeโ€™re super pumped to have the support of our
community behind this event,” says Zafiro Larsen,
one of Camp Fire Central Oregon’s program
managers and the lead planner for the faire. “The
volunteer spirit is a huge part of what makes all the magic happen, and we canโ€™t wait to see what this year brings! Weโ€™re asking everyone to
save the date and mark their calendarsโ€”letโ€™s make this autumn celebration the best
one yet!
