Announcing the second summer season of a great new resource for kids and families here in
Central Oregon. Cascade Adventure Mountain Programs (or C.A.M.P. Bend) combines
awesome outdoor adventures with a leadership and wellness curriculum for kids ages 10-15.
C.A.M.P. Bend was started in 2024 by a local Bend father/daughter duo, Drew and Anika Hornbeck. Drew has been delivering Youth Adventure Programs across the country for the last 25 years. C.A.M.P. Bend is focused on providing amazing outdoor adventures to Central Oregon families and the community.
“I am very excited to focus more on our community here in Central Oregon. Last year we donated $10,000 of services to the Boys and Girls Club of Bend. We offer fun and challenging adventures for kids, with also a social and emotional growth component.” Said Drew Hornbeck, C.A.M.P. Bend Founder.
Anika Hornbeck graduated from Summit High School in Bend in 2023 and returned home last summer from her first year at University of Utah where she studies Psychology and Business. Anika is a certified lifeguard and Wilderness First Responder.
C.A.M.P. Bend also offers family, and group/corporate outings and programs. Companies can hire us to do team building adventures, and families can participate in multi-family adventures.
“Its important to get kids outside, and away from their phones and other distractions. I can’t wait to get outside and explore nature with more CAMPers!” Said Anika Hornbeck.
