About the Deschutes Trails Coalition (DTC):ย The Deschutes Trails Coalition (DTC) formed in 2017 from diverse local and regional recreationย stakeholders who came together to provide community leadership and support to Central Oregonย land managers in an effort to address escalating challenges to our trail system. The coalition isย made up of nearly 35 trails organizations, land management agencies, visitor bureaus, conservationย organizations, businesses, and organizations representing youth, and underserved populations. Moreย specifically, DTCโ€™s vision is a deliberately-designed and sustainably-maintained regional trailย system that is stewarded by land managers and the community, and upholds the fourย Pillars of Sustainability: environmental, social, economic, and physical.
