Elmer’s Restaurants, Inc. is delighted to announce plans to open a new Elmer’s Breakfast ·
Lunch · Dinner in Bend, Oregon, later this year. The new restaurant will be located at 3098 The Dalles-
California Hwy, in the Bend River Promenade, taking over the space formerly occupied by Shari’s Café & Pies.
This opening marks Elmer’s return after nearly 40 years, having previously served the Bend community from
1966 to 1986.
“We look forward to reintroducing ourselves to the Bend community. We’ve been fortunate to welcome many
Central Oregonians at our other restaurants throughout the Pacific Northwest and are grateful for the
opportunity to serve families again in their hometown,” said Jerry Scott, President/CEO.
Elmer’s menu features an emphasis on fresh, quality, premium ingredients and traditional flavors. An example
of the commitment to quality, 100% real Northwest Dungeness Crab is featured on the Crabacado Omelet,
Dungeness Crab Benedict and Dungeness Crab BLT salad. “It’s truly the absolute best fresh crab available,”
stated Scott. Additionally, the signature Northwest Lodge Blend coffee is roasted in Portland, OR, and all
batters are prepared fresh in-house. Guest favorites include the German Pancake, Looking for Sun Omelet,
Bacon & Tillamook Cheddar Potato Pancakes, and Classic Mimosa.
While the food is a star in its own right, it’s the service that makes Guests smile. Elmer’s has earned a
reputation as a local favorite in each of the communities where they reside. Their success is based on a simple
formula of outrageously gracious service, fresh fantastic food, and an environment that is clean like new.
“Everything we do at Elmer’s is done to support our three-word mission statement – Delight Our Guests,” said
Scott. Each team member is hired for their personality and commitment to Guest service.
The new Elmer’s Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner in Bend is scheduled to open in late summer or early fall.
