owner, Shane Mayfield, has once again been invited to join the distinguished Air Force One detailing team. This prestigious honor, now in its seventh occurrence, underscores Shane’s exceptional talent and steadfast commitment to safeguarding America’s iconic aircraft.

The Air Force One detailing project is scheduled from July 6-12, 2025, at Seattle’s Museum of Flight. Shane, along with 34 other expert detailers, will meticulously preserve the historic Boeing 707-153, better known as Special Air Missions or SAM 970.

Renny Doyle, as a leading figure in automotive detailing, has significantly influenced the industry. As the founder of The Detail Mafia, his dedication and expertise have set high standards, particularly in the meticulous detailing techniques used by the Air Force One team. Renny’s leadership and passion continue to inspire detailers worldwide to achieve excellence.

This aircraft, a testament to American heritage, served multiple U.S. Presidents, including Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, after its 1959 debut as the first jet-powered presidential aircraft. Its historical significance was further cemented by transporting Vice President Johnson following President Kennedy’s assassination.
