Thrill-seekers in Central Oregon will soon have a new place to experience the
rush of skydiving with the grand opening of Skydive Bend on April 5, 2025. Located at 2028 NW
Berg Dr., Madras, OR 97741, Skydive Bend will offer tandem skydiving experiences with
breathtaking views of Oregonโ€™s high desert and Cascade mountain range.

The business is owned and operated by seasoned skydivers Jake Strain and Luke Church, who
bring a wealth of experience to the industry. Both entrepreneurs have built successful skydiving
operations in other parts of the country, including Skydive the Gulf in Elberta, Alabama, and
Skydive St. Louis in Sullivan, Missouri. Their passion for the sport and commitment to providing
world-class experiences make Skydive Bend a highly anticipated addition to the region.

โ€œThereโ€™s nothing like the feeling of freefall,โ€ said Jake Strain, co-owner of Skydive Bend. โ€œWeโ€™re
excited to bring that experience to Central Oregon and introduce more people to this incredible
sport.โ€

Jake Strain, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, discovered his love for skydiving in college and
has since completed over 5,000 jumps. His business acumen and passion for adventure have
driven him to build multiple successful dropzones across the country.

Luke Church, a St. Louis native, has been dedicated to skydiving and BASE jumping since his
teenage years. His deep appreciation for the life-changing impact of skydiving fuels his mission
to introduce as many people as possible to the sport. โ€œOne jump can change a personโ€™s whole
life,โ€ said Church. โ€œWe love watching people conquer their fears and walk away transformed.โ€

Skydive Bend will offer first-time tandem skydives, experienced jumper services, and stunning
aerial views unique to Central Oregon. The facility is now taking reservations at

skydivingbend.com.
