We just heard from Jen’s Garden, the fine-dining restaurant in Sisters that rivals any of Central Oregon’s upscale eateries. Starting January 5, Jen’s Garden will be offering a “community table” option. The first-come, first-serve 12-seat table will offer a 3-course set meal (salad, entree, dessert) for just $19. Compared with the average entree price of $26, this is a steal. You don’t get to choose your dishes, but we’ll gladly eat at the whim of chef T.R. McCrystal any day.

Jen’s Garden will also be holding wine tastings on Tuesdays, serving five wines, appetizers and featuring discussions with the winemaker and/or Jen’s Garden’s resident wine expert, Jamie.

We don’t need much of an excuse to trek out to beautiful Sisters, but if we did, a $19 three-course meal from Jen’s Garden would be at the top of our list.
