Sometimes working at the Source has its perks – like today, when Kim, from the new donut company Full Circle Donuts came in with a box of fresh baked goodies. Like the Dough Nut – the Voodoo Doughnut-style baker who, until last week, was baking out of Jackson’s Corner – Full Circle Donuts has unique concoctions like a maple bacon doughnut and a peanut and pretzel-covered doughnuts.

Full Circle Donuts also has over a dozen vegan doughnuts and a gluten-free doughnut, which, unlike some other gluten free baked goods, is delicious – it’s reminiscent of gingerbread. Full Circle bakes all their doughnuts right now out of Cafรฉ 3456’s kitchen at the Bend Airport.

Full Circle Donuts started last week and hope to sell their doughnuts at local shops including Newport Market, Backporch Coffee, Devores and Whole Foods. Full Circle also reuses their frying oil as biodiesel fuel. They’re looking for a storefront, but until then, keep your eye out for Full Circle Donuts – and try the vegan jelly roll, our new favorite.
