Pho Viet & Café on 3rd Street in Bend has re-opened following a complete renovation. The distinct yellow walls are now painted white with seafoam trim, the floor is a black and white tile, the laminated menus are now encased in wood, historic photos of the original family in Vietnam hang on the wall, the red leather booths are replaced with modern tables and chairs. The exterior is now white. The one constant is the golden Buddha sitting on the counter.

Earlier this month owner Lisa Nyguen told the Source, “I think it’s very important to have your space, the way it looks, reflect the quality of the food.” The menu remains the same with classic pho, bahn mi, rice platters, authentic chili paste, boba and more, along with the addition of Bánh Canh Gà, a Vietnamese chicken noodle soup.
