Chuck Palahniuk doesn’t write holiday books—or, at least not the type Disney would make into a movie. Author of “Choke” and, of course, “Fight Club,” the prolific and somewhat elusive writer is on hand to sign copies of his latest, “Beautiful You,” a feverish and racy story about a mid-level marketing associate, dubbed as “the nerd’s Cinderella,” who finds herself in the middle of a sex toy scandal that makes men obsolete and women into “titillated zombies.” 2 pm.
