This weekend, more than 300 competitors and thousands of spectators gathered in Portland at the Keller Auditorium to celebrate beards, mustaches and facial hair in general at the 2014 World Beard and Mustache Championships.

COMBS, the Central Oregon Mustache and Beard Society sent several competitors, and while the crew didn’t bring home any god medals, they got some great attention for facial hair in Central Oregon.

Read about some of the Bend competitors here. And check out the video of Camp Sherman teacher and Bend resident, Ethan Barrons, styling his mustache!
