Blue Turtle Seduction won’t leave Bend alone. By our count, tonight’s free show at McMenamins Old St. Francis School is the Lake Tahoe jam band’s 11th (at least) concert in Bend since 2006, when they played at the now-defunct Grove.
The poppy, world-music band was a staple of both years at the 4 Peaks Music Festival and played a pair of shows at the Annex in between. Recently, they’ve moved across the street for gigs at the Silver Moon Brewing Co., but now Blue Turtle Seduction has found a spot on the McMenamins Great Northwest Tour. This jaunt around the PNW sends the band to several McMenamins locations, including a stop tonight at the Old St. Francis School.
Expect a crowd tonight – this band has a strong following here in Bend, which they should by now!
Tonight’s show begins at 7pm. It’s free and all ages.
