Happy weekend!

Unless you’ve been hiding away in your mama’s basement with no access to the innermets for the past two-three years, chances are you’ve heard about this lil ol’ thing called legal cannabis in Oregon. The industry, legal since 2015 in Oregon, brought in a few pennies in 2017… $70 million in tax dollars, according to the Oregon Department of Revenue.

Today, the body regulating that new(ish) industry, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, released a series of videos, with Oregon cannabis industry peeps weighing in on why they decided to “go legal” and what it means to the industry.

This one features two Bend area businesses, including Plantae and Juniper Analytics.

Here’s to some cannabis love.
