  1. Rather than throw your stems away, you should add them to other stems and ends and use for a soup start or broth. Great ideas for really using your food in An everlasting Meal by Tamar Adler

  2. Thanks for the reminder. It is important to remember to use everything. Silly slip-up on my part, especially since I am quite a fan of kale stems.
