NOTE: We have been in close contact with our fashion guru, Vera Fang, in order keep you looking good. This is the second of our multi-part series, some of which will reappear in our annual Fall Style issue, on stands Aug. 30.

We’ve been scouring Bend’s local thrift stores in order to figure out which local second-hand shops consistently have the best stuff. We took along Ms. Fang, who helped us source some real gems. Below are a few of our biggest scores as well as our list of favorite thrift storesโ€”so far.

BEST TRUCKER HAT

“Where else are you going to find a NRA hat? This is wonderful.” -V. Fang

BEST T SHIRT

“Soft 50 cotton/50 poly blend, vintage T with a classic postcard-esque design. Our find of the day!” -V. Fang

BEST DISPLAY OF AMERICANA

Realllly? Only $4? This Harley T would cost $28 in L.A.” -V. Fang

BEST FUR COAT THAT WE’RE PRETTY SURE WAS MADE FROM A REAL ANIMAL

“This would be a nice, economical way to stay warm this fall without resorting to the puffy-coat lookโ€”the ubiquitous Bend fashion piece. Bleh.” -V. Fang

BEST ONE-PIECE SKI SUIT

“You will need this for at least three parties this season. Trust me.” -V. Fang
