I was just cruising the Random Presents website and saw a nice little addition to this  spring’s music calendar — G. Love & Special Sauce are returning to Bend.

The band played here in late summer of 2009 in a Domino Room that was so packed, I just about lost my damn mind. But the show was great and G. Love seemed to be digging the performance, too.

The return show is slated for April 21  — about two months after the band releases its new Avett Brothers-produced album, Fixin to Die, in the Domino Room, but if enough tickets (which go on sale soon) are sold, there’s a chance it could be moved over to the Midtown Ballroom.
