Maybe it’s the Christmas tunes from last night’s Bela Fleck and the Flecktones show still running through my system, but I thought I’d share some addition holiday spirit today (which is rare for a less-than-enthusiastic Christmas celebrant like myself) and let you know about Operation Elf Box.

The local charitable organization has placed boxes throughout Bend at which you can drop off a gift that will be given to children in need throughout the area. At the Elf Store in downtown Bend, parents can pick out a gift for their child.

If you have items you’d like to drop off, click here for a list of stores that have drop-off boxes on hand.
