This afternoon the Edgefield in Portland announced that indie-rock virtuoso Jack White will play its outdoor venue on August 27.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 27 at 10 am. 

White’s most recent album “Lazaretto” came out in mid-June to solid reviews from critics. The album sold 40,000 copies on vinyl in it’s first week making it the largest sales week for a single record in that format since 1991.
