Here’s a question for you: “What if God was one of us?”

Remember when we spent much of 1995 pondering that question, thanks to the hit song, “One of Us” by Joan Osborne? Well, now Osborne will be bringing that question to Bend on September 13.

The show, billed as the Joan Osborne Duo, at the Athletic Club of Bend is the latest announcement of the Clear Summer Nights series. Tickets are just $20 and are available at Newport Avenue Market.

Osborne actually isn’t actually just a one hit wonder — she has had a great career as a soul singer, playing alongside some of the biggest names in music. But for a moment, let’s relive 1995.
