Horner got his bell rung pretty hard.

After a bad crash, which resulted in a concussion and broken nose, Horner got back on his bike and finished stage 7 (Friday) of the Tour de France.

The Bend-based rider and recent Tour of Cali. winner decided not start stage 8 (Saturday) and has pulled out of the race.

After stage 9 (Sunday) Andreas Klöden is Team RadioShack’s highest placed rider in the GC, in eighth place at 2 minutes, 43 seconds back.
