Well,this is a new low even for the little backwater podunk of a paper that is supposed to be the “alternative” local ragsheet.While living in,oh politically correct,Bend I used to find your off kilter copy refreshing.Yes,I am one of the unwelcome transplants to this little berg built on beer,Birkenstocks and bikes.When asked where I had moved from and expierencing that ethicnocentric tone of the so called locals my reply was always the same.I would answer,gee so your entire family is 100% American Indian!Wow!I thought they were all killed off when whitey came around the bend in their wagontrains.Oh and I like my White Spotted Owl rare with decent white,red,noir,gris or any other wine to come for the only place that knows how to make it,France.The Fava beans,however,I will allow to be grown locally.The next thing I expect from your cutting edge newspaper is a picture of some almost famous local yokel’s giant ass splayed across your front page.I suggest you cruise Walmart for a record breaker butt.Yep I am outta here before they burn me as a witch and you can put a b in place of the w if that will make your beer go down a tad sweeter.
