Celebrate summer with Hamm’s. “Mmmm, Hamm’s!”

Theodore Hamm (hence Hamm-apostrophe-s, as in it’s “Hamm’s beer”) started the brewery in 1865 near St. Paul, Minn. Marketing has sure come a long way (or not, depending). I wonder whose idea it was to say, “Hamm’s, the beer refreshing?” Kind of awkward, right?

What’s not awkward is the price. Yesterday, I paid $13.98 for a 30-rack of Hamm’s at Food 4 Less. That’s about .47 per beer.

Limes are also cheap at F4L and go well with a late-afternoon Hamm’s.

You’re welcome.
