No this is a not clandestine attempt to cast a Central Oregon porno. We’re actually looking for local folks to help us round out a crew of models for the Fall fashion issue that publishes at the end of the month.
No experience required. Must be able to dress yourself, have own transportation and be willing to take orders from a Swiss photographer. This is an unpaid gig but could entail some Source swag and lunch. Total time commitment is roughly 3-5 hours. At this point we are looking for both male and female models, but are sorely in need of men and/or couples.

My husband and I have a timeshare in Bend, which we use when we visit our daughter, a longtime Bend resident and employee of Mt. Bachelor. Please pardon me if this is too forward a question… I am an author with my debut novel due for official release on September 11, (historical fiction which takes place here in Oregon). I am hoping The Source will know of any venues or events planned for the Bend area that might be conducive to a book signing, Q&A, class, reading, or any other subject pertaining to the writing and/or publishing processes? I would love to introduce Bend residents to my work, prior to the book’s release date, and offer a pre-release discount on signed copies. Can you think of some event I might attend?
