As some of you may know, I am an unapologetic fan of the 1985 film Teen Wolf, starring Michael J. Fox as a…yup, you guessed it…teenage werewolf.

Now, MTV has turned the classic film into a television series. Here’s a preview, and it looks like a poor man’s Twilight, but with less vampires, more werewolves and producers who apparently take themselves quite seriously. Also, the teen wolf plays lacrosse, not basketball (total mistake, just look at the photo)…and he doesn’t even get all hairy when he wolfs out. Annnnnd…I don’t think they even have any van surfing in this program!
