Also read the piece at the Daily Beast, which recites the history of great American lovers of freedom like Reagan and Cheney referring to Mandela as a “terrorist” and a “communist” and working hard to keep him in prison for decades. Next time a Republican denies that his party and the people in it are racist, remember that.
A black man in prison. Hmmm, must be racist republican’s fault. You’ve done nothing to prove your allegations of racism, though you expose your blatant racialism quite clearly. Mandela was not imprisoned for his political beliefs. He was imprisoned for violations of SA’s suppression of communism act and criminal law act and for facilitating mind boggling quantities of mines, munitions, and IED materials for the purpose of committing seditious terror acts against the government. Unfortunately, liberals always default to the hysterical, emotional, boiler plate stereotypes when the facts aren’t on their side.
