Adventure Galley is a truly Oregon band. The synth-obsessed dance-rock crew was born right here in Bend, check track four on their demo tape titled “Pilot Butte.” The six-piece grew up in Eugene in the early 2010s, winning a MySpace competition (yes, MySpace still existed in 2010) that secured them a record deal, and have now made their way to Portland releasing their first full-leangth album Anywhere that’s Wild in the fall of 2013. The group’s new music video for the song “Marooned,” premiered on themusicninja.com this week and is a trippy, Bowie-esque, cold war, robot fighting, cautionary tale set in the 1950s.
