This past weekend Las Vegas hosted the 2012 National Beard and Mustache Championships, which, as far as we’re concerned, is basically the most important competition of the year.
There’s a bunch of categories for various types of beards and mustaches.
For example, there’s the “Hungarian Mustache,” which is different from the “Imperial Mustache.” There’s the “Amish Beard” and the “Partial Beard, Freestyle.”
Unfortunately, 2012 results are not yet available. BUT! Our events company, Lay it Out Events, helped put this show on and came back with these pictures.

• Medal winners—the best of the best

• This buckle is a winner

• This dude was in the “Partial Beard, Freestyle” catagory
