SPORTS—Bend can be an intimidating city for the novice (or wannabe) athlete. The Deschutes Dash bridges the gap between the jocks and the jock-nots with a weekend of competitions at every level for a variety of sports—triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, and 5K/10K runs. There’s even a Splash N Dash obstacle race for kids and plenty of spots for spectating.
