High Desert Poetry Cell

WORDS—Poetry’s canon is full to brimming with men—Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, T.S. Eliot, Langston Hughes, some guy named Shakespeare—and yet the lyric art form has a decidedly feminine reputation. The High Desert Poetry Cell is working to change that with its compilation “The Guys’ Home Relationship Maintenance & Improvement Poetry Manual,” a book of poetry about, you know, guy stuff.
