The wildflowers are now in bloom and Catherine Creek near Lyle, Washington is a perfect spring hike of less than two miles.  Lyle is within a 20 minute drive of Hood River.  If you can’t take the hike, spend a couple of minutes and the Source Weekly will take you there in this video.
