Local artist Megan Stumpfigโ€”whose large mural spans the walls at Riff Cold Brew Coffeeโ€™s newly-opened shop in the Box Factoryโ€”had some of her art taken from the front of the Domino Room on Greenwood Avenue on the morning of Dec. 29.

Beat Lab Radio is offering a cash reward for the safe return of the art, according to Ashlee Gruver of The Vth LMNT.

โ€œAny information is invaluable to us,โ€ Gruver wrote in an email to the Source. โ€œWe do not wish to press charges, we just want the pieces returned to their rightful owner.โ€

Gruver said people with information about the missing art can remain anonymous by using SendAnonymousMail.net to Contact@BeatLabRadio.com or calling 503-545-1569.

UPDATE: One piece “Coyote” (woman with head dress) was picked up Jan. 6, after Gruver said she received a call from a local resident. The art was found behind Grocery Outlet and the Teen Challenge Thrift Store on Third Street.

“I’ve talked to the managers at both stores and they are going to keep an eye out,” Gruver said. “Still looking for the other two!”

  1. Doesn’t seem like the best spot to put pieces of art, stacked outside against a building. Not condoning theft of course.
