According to Wikipedia, in 2004 Zach Braff introduced Radin’s first composition, “Winter” to “Scrubs'” show creator, Bill Lawrence, who ultimately used several of Radin’s songs in various scenes of the hit television series.

Braff is a music obsessive—see the Grammy award winning Garden State Soundtrack that he put together for the film he wrote, produced, directed and starred in—and some of the most memorable moments in “Scrubs” take place to an unconventional sitcom soundtrack.

So…to win these tickets we want 100 words or less on your favorite use of music in a “Scrubs” episode!

  1. Very moving when “Winter” was played during the funeral of Brendan… he had died from leukemia. Really struck a chord.

  2. It’s so hard to choose – the music on Scrubs is always good for a laugh or a tear! Out of all that goodness, I pick the beginning of the 100th Episode. JD is chillin in a bubble bath at Elliot’s apartment with a pink towel on his head in the midst of a million candles, eating mango body butter and singing along to TOTO! Best use of “Africa” on TV ever.

  3. I know the song “Hallelujah” has been a bit overplayed but I really loved when they played that song in the episode where each of the interns (JD, Elliot, and Turk) had to deal with a patient dying. I am a physician and I think Scrubs is/was the most realistic of all of the medical shows. I have had patients die and I was really moved by this episode. It was very realistic and well done.

  4. Thanks all for commenting! We have chosen Kimberly Sink as our winner! Enjoy the concert Kimberly!
