As a part of a special project of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, a group of Monks from the Gaden Shartse Dokhang Monastery in Tibet will be speeding two weeks in Central Oregon sharing their culture, practices and paths of peace and compassion with locals.

From June 15-June 29 the Monks will put on events hosted by local businesses including public cultural performances and talks, the building of a sand mandala, desert land tour, and spontaneous connections around town, in local restaurants, and out on the trails.

See below for a full schedule of public events, and learn more about the yearlong Tibetan Monk Compassion Tour 2014 here.
