This is the best ticket giveaway the Source has had in a long time. And chances are, you didn’t even know the concert it’s for was happening.
First, Hey Ocean! is from Canada. Second, the show is going down at The Sound Garden Studio, a local venue that barely gets any love but occasionally hosts some very awesome shows. Third, the event isn’t even listed on the venue’s website.
Hey Ocean!’s show in Bend on Feb. 3 has the potential to be pretty much the best straight pop show this town has seen in a long time. Sure we love our bluegrass, have been getting a lot of cool rap lately and host our fair share of funk outfits— but pop has been largely absent.
That’s all going to change when this harmonizing, flute toting, good looking group comes to Bend.
Now for the details on how you can win two tickets to the show:
Leave a comment below with your favorite concert of all time in Bend. We’ll choose a name at random to be added to the band’s guest list. You’ve got until Jan. 30 to enter. Just make sure you use a valid email address or Facebook account when you leave your comment.
Trust us when we say, you’ll want to be there even if you don’t win. And you can get your tickets here.
Check out a couple sweet videos of Hey Ocean! doing their thing. Namely— having fun.
Now— and this is the real treat— a very special acoustic version of the song. This is the kind of stuff you like to see from a band. It’s inventive and shows off the true nature of their talent.
