Wednesday night, pop-reggae star Michael Franti was in Bend putting on his typical high energy show. He came out into the audience to perform a song, he brought the kids up on stage, and he had a smile on his face for 95% of the night. He also brought the biggest beach ball party I’ve ever seen! His stage crew didn’t stop launching balls into the audience for a solid three minutes or more and the result was “beach ball pandemonium.” There was even one kid at the end who really got into the dancing and air guitar playing. In all, it was an epic show. Amanda Shaw was the opener and used her fiddle to whip up the crowd. Pictures of her are at the bottom. Check them out!
