Remember Pat Robertson, the aging hard-right Christian broadcaster known for, among other things, announcing that the earthquake in Haiti was a result of the nation’s pact with the Devil?

Well, last week he seemed to indicate on his show The 700 Club, that he was in favor of decriminalizing marijuana (or perhaps reforming mandatory minimum sentences for marijuana possession), a statement that seems to fly in the face of the rhetoric Robertson and his followers typically espouse. 1. Yea! I like about 90% of what he says and this definitely falls into it. I’ve never smoked pot in my life, and in an unrelated statement I’m a Christian, but I wholeheartedly think our country should legalize, and tax, marajuana. Treat it like tobacco and alcohol and profit from it instead of spending billions trying to stop it.

  2. This sick b@stard is working for the zionist’s promoting war and tyranny for the benefit of Israel,he,and other’s work the right and Obama and other’s work the left to keep us divided while the elite rape and pillage.Wake up

  3. Here in Oregon, Marijauna is grown on public lands and in forests, it is guarded by armed illegal aliens working for drug cartels, and they hang razor blades in the surrounding trees and shoot on sight.

It SHOULD be a legal substance; grown on licensed farms – sold at the liquor store and heavily taxed. We don’t need the crime, and our state could certainly use the money.
