  1. I concur. Merkley needs to get out there and fight the fight. The current environment is about rallying troops. He’s got to lead.

  2. You see the thing is not that we do not need health care legislation for people who do not have it. The people who already have it like what they have. It is this far left proposal that intrudes in the lives of real Americans who are working and getting by. Nobody wants this terrible legislation. And those who do are, IMO,not fully aware of what this monstrosity is really about, or they simply do not care that this is play for the final vestage of liberty and freedom. If this garbage goes through we will all regret it. I promise. Why would I lie?

  3. “The people who already have it like what they have.”

Anybody who likes his current health insurance plan probably has never had the misfortune to suffer a significant illness, or have a loved one go through such an illness, and undergo the experience of the insurance company stonewalling, erecting bureaucratic barriers and trying to find every possible loophole that will allow it to delay, reduce or deny payment.

If you or a family member has never had this experience, sooner or later you will. And then I predict you’ll have a rather different viewpoint on what a “monstrosity” really is.
