In this week’s issue of the Source, we’ve got a little reveiw on the new documentary Sound City from debut director David Grohl. That’s right— the Grohl from Nirvana and Foo Fighters.

It’s an inspiring look at the making of some of music best albums as well as a journey forward. In fact, Grohl even puts together a new version of Nirvana with Paul McCartney on lead vocals. How crazy is that?

And while these songs are much too different and lacking the familiar Cobain qulaity to truly be considered an extension of Nirvana— the tracks are still rocking just the same.

Check out the trailer for the movie below or just go watch it on Amazon. A three day rental will run you a measly $3.99. I think your wallet can handle that.
