Football: Of course, football is on the mind, with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks winning their games on Sunday and advancing to the biggest TV commercial in world history. The Seahawks were impressive with their Russell Wilson driven offense, but did themselves no favors by gloating at the end of the game.

And, in actually important news, Central African Republic elected its first woman president – and the European Union nearly simultaneously declared they will send troops to help stabilize the war-torn nations.
