FYI: the crust cruising around Wanoga is stellar. Did a 3 1/2 hour skate tour (half of which was flirting with the light and fluffy few inches on top of firm, supportive crust) today and never saw another person (save for some bilers!). Should stay good out there as long as evening temps remain cold. Recommend morning skis as a warming trend is upon us. Also, backcountry skiing is good as long as you don’t mind hitting the “firm” under your teles! Instead of the same old same old Tumalo or the Cone (skied out!), try back side of Todd Ridge, Broken Top, other aspects of lower Tumalo and other stashes I won’t readily disclose.
