The letdown after Christmas is a natural time to think about some questionable American customs and thought processes, and perhaps to see the fallacies therein. The following comparison list might be helpful in sorting things out.
Myth: Santa Claus lives at the North Pole and has flying reindeer. Reality: Santa is a fantasy so he owns no flying reindeer.
Myth: Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Reality: Christmas is a most stressful season and often a very disappointing time of year.
Myth: Christmas is primarily a religious holiday. Reality: Christmas is an ancient pagan celebration of light following the winter solstice.
Myth: 9/11 was organized and carried out by foreign conspirators just because they are jealous of our freedoms. Reality: 9/11 was a false flag event carried out by domestic conspirators to manipulate the American people into supporting a lucrative war for profit.
Myth: The laws of physics were not in effect on 9/11 when 3 steel-framed skyscrapers collapsed at freefall speed. Reality: The laws of physics are immutable and explosives were required to remove the structural supports which were designed to support the load above and would have provided resistance.
Myth: Two planes mysteriously pulverized three buildings on 9/11. Reality: 47 story Building Seven’s sudden collapse many hours after the attacks is so obviously a controlled demolition that to call it otherwise is an insult to even the most narrow minded.
Myth: 9/11 was a sneak attack. Reality: 9/11 was planned out and carried out and covered up, by the highest echelons of money and power in this country and required a stand down order for military air defenses during the attacks.
Myth: The media is a watchdog for all improprieties in business and government. Reality: Most media is owned by and serves and protects the super-wealthy and powerful; it pre-digests their improprieties and regurgitates them to make them palatable for public consumption.
Recalling how disoriented we were the day we were told that Santa Claus isn’t real, it is not surprising that our eyes glaze over when trying to accept the reality that 9/11 was an inside job, however, contempt for the messenger does not modify the message.

So you think if someone is awake to how things actually work in this world then they are kool-aid drinkers hmmm how can I put this, Jed don’t be brain dead, God would not have you to be willingly ignorant, as in (dumb on purpose) now go get yourself some kool-aid and go educate yourself as to what is going on in this world.
people cannot even consider looking at the realities of that day and find the courage to even speak the evil that would sure be a single- but very legit- question about what happened. it was so over the top and the spin machine went into gonzo mode that the majority of people- sheep- could do nothing but eat a heapin’ helpin’ of what was served. i understand it, but i dont like it.

Keep your blessings man, if you worship the spirit of christmas, you worship you know not what. Loman has it right, it’s nothing more than a pagan godless holiday. As the Bible clearly states in Jeremiah 10:2-4, “Thus saith the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen; and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven. For the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain. For one cutteth a tree out of the forest. The work of the hands of the workman with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold. They fasten it with nails and with hammers that it move not.”

As I wrote in Concession to Error is not Admission of Defeat (’93), “America” is the only place in the world where you can drive down a sedate suburban street and see signs spelling out DRUGS in four foot letters. We as a society are the most chemically dependent people in the world. Ambein, Prosaic, Viagra.
The next time you hear some rightwing pundit, a bimbo bottle-blonde bobble-head on teevee, suggesting someone has “Drank the Kool-Aid” ask yourselves what they are trying to project, or as the case may be, not. Where did “Drink the Kool-Aid come from? The commonly accepted Jonestown Incident, where five hundred or so half-witted fat white christian cultists first followed a charismatic leader to a “commune” in Guyana and then to suicide?
